Repairs: or other issues must be submitted to the ITS Service Desk, or call 612-659-6600.

Special Events: Anything held in the Theater, Cafeteria, Gourmet Dining Room or any location other than a classroom requires a special setup. Please call us at 612-659-6600 in the initial stages of your planning. We need to speak directly with the planners. Two weeks advance notice is required.

Submitting This Request

Please place your request before NOON one business day (M-F) prior to when you will need the media equipment.

All requests will be verified by return email. Email is checked a minimum of twice a day. If you do not receive a reply email within one business day, we may not have received your order. In this event please contact the ITS Service Desk at 612-659-6600. To insure you will get the equipment you ordered please order at least a week in advance.

MCTC Equipment Checkout Procedures

In an effort to provide for an equitable distribution of our limited resources, MCTC Information Technology Services has instituted procedures on the following equipment that are available for pick up:

  • Laptop Computers
  • Digital Cameras
  • Portable Projection Systems
  • Conference Phone

9 Days Max on checkout items
No one may check out any one type of equipment for more than 9 business days in any calendar month. A business day is defined as 1pm to 12pm noon the next business day, Monday through Friday. You may check out equipment after 1pm on the pick up date and it must be returned by 12pm noon on the return date.

Equipment Condition and Training
ITS does everything it can to maintain equipment and ensure that all check out packages are complete. It is the users’ responsibility to inspect equipment with our itemized checklists before leaving T.3300; once the equipment has left the user is responsible for any missing parts or damage.

If a user needs instruction on how to use equipment please email the ITS Service Desk to arrange for an in-service training session.

Your Files
It is the users’ responsibility to remove any personal files off of ITS computers or cameras. When you return the equipment we will erase all files on the system and there will be no way of recovering them.
